Publix is Top Supermarket for Customer Satisfaction

LAKELAND, Fla., Feb. 22, 2008 – For the 14th consecutive year, Publix Super Markets is the highest-ranking supermarket for customer satisfaction according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). Publix scored 83 points, the same score as the previous year.

The ranking is determined through customer interviews measuring factors such as customer expectations, perceived quality, perceived value, customer complaints and customer retention.

"Excellent customer service is something we pride ourselves in," said Publix Media and Community Relations Director Maria Brous. "It's gratifying to know customers are pleased with our service. It speaks volumes that we've been recognized so many consecutive years."
