Publix is Top Supermarket for Customer Satisfaction
LAKELAND, Fla., Feb. 28, 2007 – For the 13th consecutive year, Publix Super Markets is the highest-ranking supermarket for customer satisfaction according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). Publix scored 83 points, up from 81 the previous two years.
The ranking is determined through customer interviews measuring factors such as customer expectations, perceived quality, perceived value, customer complaints and customer retention.
"It's gratifying to know our customers are pleased with the service we provide, " said Publix Media and Community Relations Director Maria Brous. "And it's a special honor to have been ranked the best for so many years in a row."
