Publix will Accept Returns on Certain Jars of Peanut Butter

LAKELAND, Fla., Feb. 15, 2007—In response to today's FDA warning for consumers not to eat certain jars of peanut butter, Publix store locations will accept returned Peter Pan peanut butter with the lot code beginning with the numbers "2111."  You may exchange it for a refund at your local store.
