Carrabba's Italian Market to Open in Sarasota Publix

LAKELAND, Fla., Jan. 9, 2006 - This summer, Carrabba's Italian Market will open at the University Walk (2875 University Parkway) Publix in Sarasota. This 1,000-square-foot market will be operated by Carrabba's Italian Grill and will feature a wood-burning pizza oven and a wood-fired grill. A selection of Carrabba's hand-prepared recipes will be available on a daily basis.

"Our customers have relied on Publix to provide meal solutions, whether it's an Apron's recipe for Simple Meals, Deli subs, or our rotisserie and fried chicken," said Maria Brous, director of media and community relations. "This partnership allows us to offer our customers something beyond what our Publix Delis traditionally provide."
